Processing Time

• Standard products: Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
  
• Custom stencils: Processing takes 2–4 business days to prepare your artwork. You will receive a digital proof for review within this window. Production and shipping begin after you approve the proof.
  
• Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
  
• During high order volumes, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional transit time for delivery.

Contact tom@tomwellywells.com or via Instagram within 30 days with your order number and reason for return. I'll respond within 1-2 business days with return instructions.

After inspection, approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method (processing time varies by bank).

• Select Your Size: The size you choose refers to the artwork area. We add a small border around the design to keep the stencil sturdy and easy to handle.
  
• Proportional Scaling: Your file is resized to the requested dimensions while keeping the original proportions, unless you ask for a different fit.
  
• Proof Approval: You will receive a proof showing exact artwork measurements, border width, and cutout areas for review before production.
  
• Intricate Designs Welcome: Our process captures fine details reliably. We prepare the file so small elements cut cleanly and the stencil performs 

Custom stencils are available in two materials to suit different projects and budgets.

Mylar Plastic (14 mil)

• Thick and durable: Withstands repeated use without warping or tearing.
  
• Reusable: Designed for hundreds of clean impressions with proper care.
  
• Flexible yet stable: Bends around curved surfaces and lays flat for precise edges.
  
• Slightly translucent: Helps you align artwork exactly where you want it.
  
• Easy to clean: Dried paint wipes or rinses off to extend stencil lifespan.
  

Poster Board (Heavyweight Cardstock)

• Crisp edges: Produces sharp lines for spray, airbrush, or light roller applications.
  
• Best for short runs: Ideal for one-off or limited-use projects and quick prototypes.
  
• Semi-rigid: Holds shape well on flat surfaces and gentle curves.
  
• Opaque surface: Easy to position; use light tack spray or painter’s tape for hold.
  
• Care notes: Not washable like plastic; paint buildup can soften edges over time.
  
  

Choosing a Material

• Pick Mylar for long-term reuse, frequent cleaning, or complex surfaces.
  
• Pick Poster Board for single projects, budget-friendly trials, or when you need a quick custom stencil without long-term maintenance.
